We are looking for Refrigeration Engineer for Cruise ship. Responsible for the refrigeration and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems throughout the ship. Manage the crew assigned to the refrigeration team to effectively complete scheduled maintenance jobs and address repair work as it arises. In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. NATURE AND SCOPE: Will be assigned duties as directed by the department head. Initiates and maintains effective employee relations at all times. Contract: 4 months on, 2 months off A luxury cruise and motor yacht company are looking to recruit a professional Executive Sous Chef who takes pride in their work. The candidate will assist the Executive Chef in directing and supervising the preparation of and service for all food on board in accordance with the established company's menu and recipes. In the absence of the Executive Chef, is responsible for the overall operation of the kitchen. They will be responsible for quality, quantity, attractiveness and correctness of all food items served as per company's standards and manage minimum waste by preparing the food in small quantities.The candidate will also have to prepare work schedules of all employees in his kitchen organisation for approval by the Executive Chef. The candidate must have advanced culinary skills and leadership experience and have a minimum of seven years experience working in quality hotels and restaurants. Contract: 4 months on, 2 months off An ETO is required to join a luxury cruise and motor yacht company. The successful candidate will be fully aware of how the electronics systems are interconnected, able to operate, understand and maintain equipment sufficiently. They will ensure that all wiring of equipment is up to industry standard, and know who his land based counterparts are and their availability to assist in IT update and repairs on board. Candidates require previous cruise/passenger ship experience, as well as Electrical and Technical knowledge. Responsibilities will include PA systems, fire doors/systems, working with AMOS and AVO, computers, communication systems e.g. telephones, as well as all hotel equipment. Daily salary paid in British Pounds Sterling or US Dollars. Rotation 4 months on, 2 months off. STCW basic training certification is required and GMDSS Operators certificate and ETO CoC is desired.
