Technical Superintendent for the Cruise...
Due to our continuous fleet expansion, we are looking for the right individual to strengthen and complement our Hamburg based team. Tasks: • You will establish a trustful co-operation with vessels’ commands and team work with all relevant shore based departments and become the focal point of contact for all vessel related issues; • You will monitor and maintain the performance and condition of allocated vessels. This includes the follow-up on internal and external inspections; • With ship inspections, repairs and dry-dockings you will ensure that your entrusted vessel is operated according to highest international standards and customer requirements; • Budget preparation and control; • You will prepare reports for in- and external recipients on vessels’ condition and performance. Profile: • You hold a college or university degree in a shipping related subject; • A minimum of two years work experience in shipping, shipbuilding or marine engineering is required; • You have knowledge and experience in the (Technical) Management of Cruise Vessels; • You are a good communicator with teamwork and decision-making abilities; • You are able to adopt broad knowledge of international rules and regulations and of industry guidelines and recommendations; • Computer literacy is essential for the successful accomplishment of tasks; • Excellent command of the English language.
