Junior Technical Superintendent
Our partner is looking for the Junior Technical Superintendent for office based in Germany. Job Description: - Supervising vessels in all technical matters, i.e. maintaining, preparing repairs and dry-docking specifications and monitoring all repairs afloat and in dry-dock - Solving technical challenges - Monitoring vessel performance trends including speed, fuel and lube oil consumptions - Ensuring vessel compliance to classification, flag state and port state rules and regulations - Vessel inspections, in respect to technical, operation, ISM, ISPS, safety and environmental guidelines - Controlling the purchase of spares and consumables - Preparing OPEX budgets and reporting expenses against such budgets - Ensuring the workflow in compliance with internal procedures - Data maintenance - Extensive international travel, in some cases on short notice Experience: at least 2 contracts as 3rd Engineer (or higher ranks) on Dry Trades Type of contract: Permanent employment with probation period
Port Agency Manager Italy – Based in Civitavecchia

KEY RESPONSABILITIES 1. Coordination - To distribute and coordinate port calls for all Intercruises agency contracts. - To be the main escalation point for cruise lines, ships, ports, sub agents for all agency related matters in the port. - To provide cruise lines with port information as and when requested, update and control internal port information data base. - To ensure arrangement for safe berthing for vessels and deal conflicts with Port Authority through sub agents in different port. - To ensure port disbursement accounts are completed and invoiced in a timely manner, with the assistance of the finance department where necessary. - To ensure current legislation regarding all port related matters are communicated in timely manner to all clients and operational teams (i.e. security / immigration). - To coordinate operations between the different subagents. 2. Supervision & Control - To control berth reservations. - To produce and maintain operating standards for port agency services for both internal and sub agents. - To monitor quality of service offered over our quality standards. - To ensure all pre-funding is submitted to cruise lines in a timely manner and is received prior to call. - To ensure follow up, escalation and registration of incidents. 3. Strategy & Negotiation - To define the Port Agency strategy within the Port Agency Mediterranean strategy. - To research and define new products, distribution channels and services and develop the current ones. - To negotiate supplier contracts/fees for the benefit of clients and/or increasing agency revenue. - To contract with reputable suppliers to provide best service and price available. - To negotiate with the client on operational port agent services. - To review existing set up and contracts to maximize revenue opportunities 4. Relationship & Networking - To maximize networking opportunities through internal contacts as well as trade associates, port site inspections and cruise industry events and exhibitions. - To source potential port agency opportunities and research product requirements in order to participate in bids. - To create good working relationships with Port Authorities, providers and third parties. - To be the front face of Intercruises for all Port Agency related matters at high levels. 5. Team Management - To manage & develop local team in coordination with Port Agency Manager Mediterranean and the HR department. - To motivate and lead employees and external agents. - To supervise performance of employees ensuring it is of a high standard. - Carrying out performance reviews. CANDIDATE PROFILE (key skills, experience and qualifications requirements) - University Degree in Travel/Tourism or Maritime Qualification - Italian Port Agency licence will be highly valued - At least 3 years experience as Port Agent (preferably in Italy) - In depth knowledge and experience within the maritime industry (preferably cruise industry) - Good accounting skills - Excellent communication skills and able to influence on all levels - Passion for customer service - Very good negotiation skills - Excellent problem solving skills and able to work towards tight deadlines - Advanced organisational and decision making skills - Peoples person and able to establish and grow an effective network - People management skills - Ability to travel as required for the position The position will be subject to the right to work in the country.
Contracting Manager – Based in Barcelona
KEY RESPONSABILITIES Support - To assist in resolving escalated issues with cruise lines and hotels. - To source and create, maintaining and developing the commercial relationships with suppliers. - To work together with the destinations providing support and knowledge in hotel contracting. Coordination - To establishing internal and external good working relationships with hotels and cruise lines. - To ensure that all contracts are accurate, delivered to agreed timescales and within agreed budget parameters. - To be the main point of contact for the cruise lines in regard of hotel contracting worldwide. Product Management - To manage the contracting of hotels Worldwide. - To ensure that the most accurate product is offered to each client. - To identify new business opportunities and maximise sales opportunities by maintaining the relationship between the cruise lines and the Intercrusies destinations. - To diversify product offering as opportunities arise. - To report regularly to the board. Operations - To manage the hotel contracting, quoting and operations in destinations with no Intercruises presence. - To supervise and standardize hospitality desk operations at hotels. CANDIDATE PROFILE - University Degree in Tourism or related - 2 – 5 years of experience in contracting and product management within the travel industry - Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships and sourcing and securing market leading contracts - In-depth knowledge of the travel & hospitality industry and commercial environment - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work autonomously, proactiveness and positive attitude - High level of assertivity and confidence - Excellent ability to organise and coordinate teams and resources - Fluent English skills, Spanish will be highly valued - Availability to travel internationally as required by the position The position will be subject to the right to work in the country.

The Operations & Product Executive is to be the main point of contact with the Cruise Lines for our operations and be responsible of answering the request for proposals from the Cruise Lines ensuring high standard quality of services and competitiveness in order to achieve development of the business and client satisfaction. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Operations - Handling and arranging excursions operations agreed with our cruise clients, throughout all different stages involved in the process: blocks and reservations with providers, controlling operations in-situ at Pier (or other places required) and closing all invoicing procedures related to our department's operations; - Keeping constant contact, reserving and updating providers accordingly, in regard to products/services required for our excursions operations; - Keeping constant contact with ships and respective Shore Excursion Teams onboard cruises, in order to review, update and arrange all final details, according to programs agreed for any given call date; - Closing all invoicing and data loading procedures. CANDIDATE PROFILE Experience in working with large scale tour groups organization or cruise operations; - Highly organized and methodical person, with the ability to perform both independently and in teamwork; - Shifts flexibility and excellent disposition to deal with last minute changes; - Good Communication skills, not afraid from interaction with people and with the ability to maintain high level of Customer Service in very demanding situations; - Very high Level of French and English, both written and spoken.
