We are looking for Operations Executive. As Operations Executive, you will ensure effective and efficient coordination of fleet vessels operations. - Responsible for daily vessel operations under direct supervision of the General Manager - Process and ensure compliance with relevant Charter Party requirements and Company procedures, relevant voyage or time charter operational information between fleet vessels, brokers, charterers and agents - Maintain account of bunkers on board and plan for optimized uptake for spot market ships, under the guidance of the General Manager - Monitor and record all details of voyage performance including off-hire, stoppages and delays within the Vessel Voyage Performance report system - Arrange all routine invoicing and funding for voyage costs, including agency appointments, non compulsory pilotage and surveyors attendance - Maintain and manage all department / fleet operational records, files and databases as per departmental procedures - Render pre-fixture support to Commercial department concerning any vessel information requirements, questionnaires, certification and scheduling - Render Post fixture support to Commercial department as required during the course of the voyage with pertinent operational information, routing, ETA/ETD, cargo operations, terminal and navigational issues - Liaise with the Marine department for vetting status and information on voyage screenings by Oil Majors - Liaise with the Fleet Technical and Fleet Manning teams for effective co-ordination of spares delivery and personnel transfer - Assist with departmental goals and projects as required - Undertake activities as guided by company's Fuel and Operational Efficiency initiatives Requirements: - Educated to Diploma level, or holding equivalent sea faring experience (2ndMates Certificate) - Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the marine industry - Familiar with the oil tanker industry, especially vessel operations - Experience in post-fixture work, laytime and demurrage calculations - Fluent in written and spoken English Ideal Candidate: - Able to work in a systematic and organized manner - Will work in a precise and accurate manner - Dependable and reliable - Continuously required to provide support and assist others - Steady and predictable in behaviour - Works in a careful and thorough manner
