Chief officer

Zakher Marine International is looking for the Chief officer for their AHTS fleet.

Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Towing and AHTS vessels

Main Duties:
- Comply with the safety and environmental policies of the Company, and all relevant international and national conventions, codes and legislation.
- Actively promote safe working and safe operational practice which will ensure that personnel operate in safe working environments.
- Arrange safety training on board and remain responsible for use and safe custody of safety training videos.
- Carry out running maintenance of all deck equipment, liaising closely with the Chief Engineer, before any machinery is dismantled. Planned Maintenance Routines are to be followed under the Chief Engineer's direction.
- Ensure all documents under his control are properly maintained. All Company paperwork is to be submitted on time. He is required to properly maintain a Chief Mate's Workbook, which is to be used as a handy reference for himself and future Chief Mates.
- Management of performance, disciplinary procedures and grievance procedures as head of department.

Criteria:
- Must have English Marlins test, ensure all of the categories are 80% and above.
- Must have NATIONAL License - (flag state COC are not excepted – ex. Panama, Belize etc.)
- All STCW certificates issued within last 5 years
- Provide evidence their Seamans book with vessel stamps include the issue and expiry date pages. Last 5 (Five) years.
- We prefer with ARAMCO approval.
- Salary: will depend on their experience.
- Nationality: Any, as long as they are allowed to enter in Saudi.
