We are currently searching for an Inventory Manager to direct the overall inventory function aboard ship as related Hotel Operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -> Courteous interactions with guests and fellow shipboard employees, while in crew areas at all times, and in presence of guests -> Directing the overall Inventory function aboard the vessel as related Hotel Operations -> Manages staffing par levels to support the business needs of the vessel -> Reviews and approves overtime sheets and reviews requests -> Observes and evaluates employees -> Mentors, develops and provides on-the-job training to subordinates to strengthen current performance and to prepare for advancement -> Fosters a team environment among the crew -> Establishes a Materials Requirement Planning process that drives the requisitioning of materials for all hotel-related functions including food and beverage, hotel consumables, and disposable items -> Remains up to date on USPH procedures for sanitation and cleanliness -> Conducts regular inspections/audits, cycle counts and inventories -> Publishes related performance metrics -> Arranges supply deliveries -> Creates, managements and controls budget -> Continuously identifies improvement opportunities
