Electrical Project Engineer

A leading Ship Management company based in London is currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer/Superintendent to join the team.

Working closely with the Fleet Manager Services, this position will provide expert guidance to the Fleet Managers, Vessel Managers and Management on electrical matters arising from the management of the ships.

Other duties include;
- Project management and supervision in electrically specified projects
- Visit vessels in port as may be required to undertake audits
- Attendance of electrical, communications and navigational equipment service engineers
- Electrical maintenance and repair standards and requirements through the PMS
- Conduct task specific HazID and HazOP risk assessments.

Experience / Qualifications required:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in seagoing/ marine based environment, eg Ships ETO
- LPG / LNG Experience (preferred but not compulsary)
- Experience in shore based position (desirable)
- Working knowledge MS Outlook, Excel, Word
