Experience: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Towing and AHTS vessels Main Duties: - Ensure the Company's Management and Operational manuals are read - Actively promote safe working and safe operational practice which will ensure that personnel operate in safe working environments. - Arrange safety training on board and remain responsible for use and safe custody of safety training videos. - Pre-plan port entries and departures. - Communicate according to a formal routine - Implementing the Company's, Owners', Charterers' trade/operator's policies for safe and efficient loading, stowage, carriage and discharge of cargo to ensure maximum uplift, out-turn and minimum downtime. - The Master has ultimate responsibility for all matters concerned with Safety and Environmental Protection. - Management of performance, disciplinary procedures and grievance procedures as head of department. - Ensuring that all parties to the venture are kept advised of the status of the voyage and of any factors which may affect the safe and efficient execution of the voyage. Criteria: - Must have English Marlins test, ensure all of the categories are 80% and above. - Must have NATIONAL License - (flag state COC are not accepted – ex. Panama, Belize etc.) - All STCW certificates issued within last 5 years - Provide evidence their Seamans book with vessel stamps include the issue and expiry date pages.
