Anthony Veder is one of the few tanker owners totally dedicated to the transport of liquefied gas.

Established in 1937 and based in the Port of Rotterdam, Europe's largest port, Anthony Veder is involved in all aspects of gas transportation, including liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), petrochemicals and Carbon Dioxide (CO2).

Innovation has always been at the heart of the company and we were the first tanker firm to introduce a purpose-built CO2 vessel in 1999.

Anthony Veder is proud to own one of the most modern and sophisticated gas tanker fleets in the industry and this enables us to offer a reliable and flexible service.

All aspects of Ship Management are also available within the company, from chartering and operations, to technical ship management and crewing. Anthony Veder handles the ship management of its own vessels but also for our pool partners and for third-party vessels. In addition, we have a travel agency, Anthony Veder Travel which is specialised in business travel and travel for seafarers.

The safety of our crew and the environment in which we operate, are always of prime concern to Anthony Veder and safety management is taken very seriously throughout the organisation and procedures are continually updated.

Activities

As an integrated shipping company we focus on the transport of liquefied gases. Not only LPG and pertochemical gases but also LNG and CO2. All aspects of ship management are available within the company, from chartering and operations to technical ship management and crewing. Ship management is carried out for our own vessels but also for our pool partners and third-party vessels. Furthermore, we have a travel agency suited to travel for business people and for seaman.


Fleet

The Anthony Veder fleet consists of modern gas carriers. Most of them are semi pressurised/ fully refrigerated (SP/FR) gas tankers and ethylene (ETH) carriers. We also operate a fully pressurised (FP) tanker, a dedicated CO2 carrier (fully pressurised/ fully refrigerated, FP/FR) and a new type of vessel which is a combined LNG carrier.

Products

Gases transported by Anthony Veder include ammonia, I-butane, methane, ethylene, propylene, butadiene, propane and vinyl chloride among others.
